Hey everyone! I recently had the pleasure of collaborating with another local equestrian photographer, Kaylin Connors photography and it was such a fantastic experience. Not only did we get to create some stunning images together, but we also learned a lot from each other and had a lot of fun in the process.

Collaborating with another photographer can be a great way to expand your skills, learn new techniques and perspectives, and also build connections in the industry. When working with another photographer, it’s important to communicate clearly and establish expectations upfront. In our case, we discussed our goals for the styled shoot, our styles and preferences, and how we could work together to create a fun styled shoot that was unique and beautiful.

During the shoot, we worked together to capture stunning photographs of two different horses, utilizing each other’s strengths to create a diverse portfolio of images. We also took turns assisting each other with behind-the-scenes footage, which made for some fun Instagram reels later on. We both learned new techniques and improved our skills.

Overall, collaborating with another local photographer was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to anyone in the industry. Not only did we create some beautiful images, but we also built a strong relationship that I know will continue to be valuable in the future.
