There’s just something magical about a fall wedding in upstate New York — and Jerris Wadsworth Wedding Barn in Avon, NY is the perfect place to bring that magic to life. I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a September wedding here that was equal parts elegant and cozy, with the kind of golden-hour glow that makes every frame feel like a dream.

Set against rolling fields and wide-open skies, this venue truly shines in autumn. The ceremony took place just as the leaves were starting to turn, adding the prettiest pops of gold and red in the background. The barn itself, with its weathered wood and string lights, brought so much rustic charm to the day. It was the perfect setting for a heartfelt exchange of vows followed by a celebration full of laughter, dancing, and happy tears.

One of my favorite moments was sneaking the couple away during sunset for portraits in the nearby field. The light was warm and soft, and it gave us the chance to slow down and capture some quiet, candid moments just before the party kicked off inside the barn.
